Ev, founder of Blogger, moves on. Beautiful entry. Wish him the very best. Hat tip: Tantek (who got it from Dave). ¶

Funnily enough this comes right after I read something about Google having to worry about keeping a lot of their workforce there now that a majority are millionaires.

I heard a lot about this recently on NPR. In their place, I think that I would stick in there (assuming the job wasn’t killing me
) to see what else happens. They actually said in their report that Google isn’t expecting many people to leave because everybody there *likes* their job. Now there’s an idea!

I’ve known Ev since before Blogger. I don’t think there’s any hidden story. He’s telling us about himself and how he approaches life and his dreams and his foilbles.
That’s what people do with blogs.
Raise a drink to the original Pyra team. Best of luck to Meg in her new career as a chef, to Ev in his adventures whatever they may be, and to pb in anything that strikes his fancy as he continues to make the web a better place to be in his own quiet way.
