It’s not related to Apple Corp. in any way, is it? At least there is a WordPress metatag…

No it’s not official at all.

At least these guys have the decency to display that their weblog is powered by WP.
Why do you think that Apple commented out the “Powered by WordPress” statement?
I can’t think of any good reason for doing so.

As software makers, it would damage their pride. That’s like IBM using Google for their site search.
Corollary: WordPress surpasses Mac.

There’s a lot more involved than just a developer with the whole WordPress credit. You guys have to realize that there’s billions of dollars in politics involved. It’s actually more of a saftey issue than anything. They don’t want the average person knowing it’s WordPress because they are afraid of security holes (Let’s be honest here – blogging systems in general are not guarenteed secure). It’s not a matter of pride. Apple selected WordPress from a dozen blog software canidates – isn’t that enough? Isn’t that the purpose of WordPress?
As for this blog… eh, looks like they tried to duplicate Apple branding but failed. The colors, the type – it just doesn’t quite work. The Apple look seems simple on first impressions, but is carefully detailed and precise… it takes years of understanding the brand to duplicate it’s look. Personally, I’d rather see either a blatant rip-off of Apple design or a different, unique design

There’s two links to Wordpress that I can see – an image in the left-hand ‘booyah’ section, and also a text link in the footer.
