TB Quickmove

Asides

James Lee sent me a link to TB Quickmove, an extension for Firefox Thunderbird which lets you move messages into folders with hotkeys, which is what I really really needed. I only wish I could map regular letters.

    I thought that the whole point of the fox was that it didn’t have the mail features. ;-)

    You mean something like, “If bill from xyz utility -> crumple up and (throw in) Trash”?

    I only wish Thunderbird worked. I’ve tried and tried, but it just won’t retreive mail from more than two addresses.

    Haha, no more like “if I press D it goes into the Dev folder.”

    @Tim,
    I have TBird retrieving mail from three email addresses with no issues at all.

  • Tim March 7, 2005 @ 4:15 am

    @Craig,

    You wouldn’t think it would be a problem, and yet it is. And I’m not alone – there are several people in the forum s with similar problems. What frustrated me is that no developer has spoken up on the issue. And it isn’t a server setting on my end — all three address are on the same server and I had the same settings for them all. Two would work, one wouldn’t. Create the accounts in Outlook (with same settings) and presto, it all works.

    I really really really want to use TBird, but I really need to actually get all of my mail.
