Hmm… I ran several different trunks over the past few weeks, and none of them seemed to have newMediaObject working properly. ie, Photon completely borked.
Don’t know if that’s still an issue, but I’m afraid I’m pretty much committed to 1.5.2 for the Christmas present site.

I don’t mean to spoil the enthusiasm, but I don’t think that’s a wise idea.
There are several bugs, which are sometimes fatal, e.g. browser crashes. AdBlock has conflicts with TinyMCE, which make editing impossible. A release before Xmas is desirable because of massive downloads (e.g. http://photomatt.net/2005/01/01/wordpress-spike/ ), but why give WordPress the ‘buggy’ reputation. Trust me, I am trying to help here; nothing else.

It feels pretty solid to me. Small bugs that I notice, but I look forward to the final…well, like Podz said, ‘beta’ is the newest cool around, so maybe WP2.0 can just stay in beta to be in the ‘cool’….either way, I look forward to the release of the next version of WP.
