Full Code Press is a 24-hour contest to build a website for a non-profit. Pretty cool idea. ¶

Interesting, I just took a job with a non-profit to do the same thing (but not in 24 hours).
Look forward to watching this develop… heck, maybe even flying down to watch.

I participated in (and won) a competition similar to this on behalf of Knowbility.org. It’s called AIR Interactive, and participants have to build a website for a non-profit that is Accessible in 8 hours. Here is a link to my winning entry: http://fairygodmotherproject.com/

This version of the contest is only open to Aussies and Kiwis BUT they have an option where you can sign up and represent your country for a contest in 2008. Hopefully you won’t have to fly ahywhere just to design the site. Good idea which should/could be modified into other regions.
