Yahoo! Shortcuts

Yahoo! Shortcuts is a new service from Yahoo that puts links and rich “stuff” on your page. It has launched exclusively as a plugin for WordPress. Most aren’t something I would use myself, except the Flickr one, but still cool.

” that puts links and rich â€"stuff” on your page.”

    Hmm. Yep.

Seems to me that all the plugin achieves is to place free advertisements for Yahoo (and it’s associated advertising) on our blogs.

    I don’t think so.

This is actually a really cool tool for WordPress. I really like the freedom it gives the user to enable or disable all or some of the links it finds.

Any chance this will get added to WordPress.com? I would really like to be able to use it there too!

    Thanks for the heads-up!

It’s cool alright, but the whole free advertising and everything for them, and we get nothing…..I don’t think so. If they had it set-up for a PPC kind of deal I’d re-activate the plug-in lol.

Yahoo! ShortCuts is not so useful,at it seems to be. But worthiest thing is, that it deletes posts during editing!
