A timing tip for O’Reilly High Order Bits: the clock starts when they take the stage to introduce you. Ask about your real time to present or plan for 8-9 minutes instead of 10.

I had seen you say that somewhere else, I think in something you were saying about tailoring your presentation for the audience. Thanks for the tip. :)

Nice to know that you’ll be at web 2.0 expo.. See you then.. And by the way, great new design.

    “…will be launching something.”

    How about some details?

  • Matt April 24, 2008 @ 12:07 pm

We’ll announce what we’re launching at the event, that’s the whole point! Also your blog post is wrong, I’ll be on at 10:15 not 10:30.

I’m willing to bet it’s either backPress or the fully-hosted bbPress (ala wp.com) roll-out.

Or Matt is retiring from the web scene and starting a Thelonius Monk tribute band.

Thanks for pointing out the timing error, Matt.

Stab in the dark guess … TalkPress.com is launching, powered by a forked version of phpBB3 perhaps?
