Very nice! I greatly heart the vintage/retro style and would love that look as an overlay to my blog’s current layout. But since I lack design skills, I guess I’ll have to save up and hire a designer.

It’s a great list, but I see more in a minimal design style blogging. Great legibility and easy navigation. What is the max time spend on a blog? Within 1 minute the mayority is gone already. I think when having a minimal style blog, the emphasis will be more on the content. That’s what blogging is about, imo.
