Even though you dont need AF-S on your camera (i do need for my D40), it is supposed to be better optically as well. Saludos, Reply
You focus manually?
I dropped my camera and the 50mm 1.4 won’t auto-focus correctly most of the time, so I’m on manual until it can be fixed or replaced.
