  1. I’m grateful that WordPress is an open source application that is web based, where there are a slew of designers ready to make great interfaces for both the front and back end. Coupled with plugins, it’s crowd sourcing. I know I can’t design or code worth beans.

  2. I completely agree with the previous commenter. I’ve used Linux for a while, so the concept of “if it doesn’t exist, someone in the community can make it” really appeals to me about WordPress and other open source platforms.

  3. That’s actually a really interesting read. It’ll definitely make me think twice the next time I code something.

    On a side note though, that blog is running WP 2.0. Tsk tsk. 😛
