Bush2004 upgrades to WordPress blog, I think I saw this guy at SxSW, if he was indeed the one wearing the bush2004.com hat and t-shirt.
He was the guy wearing the hat.
He was having to point out that it’s not actually a pro-Bush site.
I remember this because before he clarified, I thought he was courageous to wear such a hat in an obviously anti-Bush group.
Me? I’m anti-Bush.
Too bad is it so poorly designed but, more importantly, that it is satiric towards the president.
Me? I’m pro-Bush.
And before some asshat comments on my spelling and/or grammatics, my mother tongue is not english. 🙂

Also, that site is hilarious.
I felt so bad for him all week until I went up to him at Bruce Sterling’s house and told him how sorry I was that his guy got ripped to shreds all week. I figured out something was up when he laughed at me… If you ever meet him, ask him about his visit to a Republican fundraiser. It’s priceless.
I was looking in the referrer stats and I see that we have 304 visits generated by this entry. That’s running third to the referral hits we get from wired.com and johnkerry.com.

David, we’re slowly rolling out a new design and a user community on http://bush2004.net and http://bush2004.net/community. It’s a totally volunteer effort so we can’t do rapid prototyping.
We had our best day recently, 870,000 hits and 40,000 visits in a single day.
WordPress almost meets our needs, but it hasn’t replaced our main blog yet. We’re trying to implement a new editor and, when we overcome that hurdle, we’ll roll out WordPress as our main blog.
