I just got this at Bloglines: “There is a problem with the database. Please try again later.” Uh oh. I wonder if they’re going to hit the same growing pains Technorati went through.

I need to learn more about these indexing URL submission sites, because Technorati gives me weird results when I do a search on my own blog titles or URLs, including disposable sites I deleted. I wonder if there is an Unsubmit function.
I submitted sites to Blogwise, and noticed that they need a Return Link page. The only way to get a Return Link code/Blogwise icon is to submit a site. Somehow I got around this, but it was 3 AM and I can’t recall how I did it. I think I did a search on “Return Link.”
A big problem with many web sites is that they expect users to follow a certain path, and fail to recognize the fact that other paths may be required or desired. Not enough “if, then” or “what if, when” type thinking.
