It looks like the plane has been delayed another few hours. My United flight out here wasn’t bad, but this one is terrible. I found a power outlet and I’ve set up camp with the laptop, wifi, and headphones so I’m just going to try to get some work done. Anyway, the WordPress Support forums have broken 100,000 posts.
The Pittsburgh airport recently upgraded its wi-fi network to cover all four terminals. It had previously only covered the A and B terminals. I always depart from C, so it was useless to me until now. It makes me actually look forward to waiting at the airport…although delays are always frustrating, having a handy distraction does make then a little more bearable.
how much does access cost at airports on average?
At the Pittsburgh airport, it’s free, which is what makes it so great.
I’m not personally familiar with any of the paid wi-fi services out there, but I think I’ve seen prices ranging anywhere from a couple of dollars for just an hour of access, to much more for a monthly plan.
Vegas also has free Wireless although the coverage is sometimes a bit spotty. There is probably a list out there on the net somewhere of what airport has what service…
