When renewing a domain at GoDaddy I just had to fill out a captcha to complete the transaction.

ICANN/whois do it all the time IIRC. Also some Web hosts do. Apropos Captcha, last night I installed Coffelius’ nice little plug-in which I recommend.
I can understand a captcha on new domains, but on a renewal?? you’ve got to be kidding me.
