I have been using this for months. Recently I added the spellcheck plugin for WordPress but I still prefer the Firefox extension. For one thing you can add words which is not possible with the WordPress plugin. It came in handy when I had to write entries for my foreign language class too. I just downloaded the Mexico/ES dictionary and I could switch easily back and forth!
Sweet! I was looking for a solution to the problem for some of my vehicle exporting clients. They are not usually the most technologically saavy crowd. You know that you got number 1 google hit for “mozilla spell check plugin” 😉
I must be being silly, but the spellchecker built into Forefox 2.0 doesn’t seem to present options for an incorrectly-spelt word. What am I doing wrong? It underlines words, but doesn’t seem to allow me to select a correct spelling from the context menu.
This is probably my most used extension!
Wow! This is a truly sweet FF extension. Thanks for pointing it out.
Awesome extension, and excellent site too. I really like the use of JavaScript.

Screenshot of my extension list, this is what makes Firefox better than all the others! It is adaptable.
LOL. I just “instinctively” right clicked and spellchecked this entry without even thinking about it.
Actually it is quite possible starting at version 0.7 of the plugin. It is now at version 1.1.
That said, there are advantages in having both available.
Thanks ColdForged, I did not know that, I must need to update the plugin!

Now they just need to udate it for 1.05 which has been out for a month now…
Doesn’t work in Firefox 1.5+.
Firefox 2 = spellchecker included

Any help would be appreciated!
