Ah, Matt, my friend, I doubt this article by a Democrat thingamajig. I’m not a Republican, or Librarian, or Libertarian, or Democrat, or Green Partyer, heck, I’m barely American. I have never voted and will never vote. I don’t ever want to encourage any politician, ever.
But uh, this sounds so much like typical political speech. “Just want to regulate ads, not online soapboxes.” Why do Democrats tend to support the Main Stream Media, which flip flops, left, then right? This is like the Bush plan to make Social Security benefit Wall Street, funds managers, insurance companies, etc.
I don’t trust this speech. “Calm down. We won’t hurt you.” Politicians always destroy everything they touch.
There is a push to censor or criminalize blogs and bloggers. What corner will it come around? Election campaign “reform” is a good 1984-ish, Brave New World-ish way to sneak it in. Perhaps. Wait and see.
Yeah, just keep drinkin’ the Kool Aid, Matt.
