Well, that atomfeed code will come in handy – BloGTK caches retrieved posts as Atom feeds, and I’d been taking the structs returned by the old XML-RPC APIs and manually converting them into Atom feeds by just adding the data to a string. This seems a little more advanced.
Python is an excellent language for this sort of stuff – it’s really the only language that seems to really flow – the others seem to have a syntax that just gets in the way. I do hear that Ruby is similar, but I just can’t seem to find the time to try it…
Does this do anything that I can’t already do with the Atom feed built in to WordPress?
