“Kubrick”
Why do people feel compelled to comment on the site template rather than the content? If the site is effective in passing along its intended message, then who gives a hill of beans what template was used. This whole “Oh my God it’s a Kubrick” is not only worn out, it’s ridiculous as well. Get over it people. Move on to something that’s really important, like say, CONTENT.

Levi, you’re right. It is very Kubrick. When I was designing the site, I intentionally started with the Kubrick theme because that was the fastest thing to do. In terms of the major design bits, I kept three pieces of Kubrick that I thought worked well: the body text, the right-hand nav, and the background color of the page.
All other elements, such as the two column layout, are symptoms of blogs in general and not the Kubrick theme.
If I had had more than 2 days to get it all up and running, I would have reinvented more pieces. Alas, time was my biggest constraint.
Nice clean layout though it’s very ‘Kubric’ if you ask me.
