With the advent of social sites, people /do/ get overly caught up in the “stat wars.” It’s sad really. You should write because it’s something you love doing, all other things (ad clicks and hits) should be in the back of your mind.
Would be better if you just paste the content and put a copyright note in news too. Do you think every guest has the time to check all links he may see? Stupidity.
