One of my guest post authors wrote one these last fall, I forget the exact title, but there’s almost no overlap between the two lists. Free Software is the only overlap I can think of off the top of my head.

My reason is simple, WordPress is simple. π
11. The community is HUGE, and documentation is plentiful.
Support from the WordPress community is outstanding. It helped a regular guy like me build a great website. That alone makes a huge difference.
I don’t like this commercial themes:
“Because themes are open source, you can buy or download them and then modify them to your heartβs content.”

For me it has given me something to learn and stay out of trouble I haven’t had a drink in a year and love learning everything about WordPress. π
They forgot the bit about the WordPress mobile apps actually making it easy to moblog, not just on WordPress.com but also on .org.
