The email levels on my contact page now show graphs when you click on them. I’ve found this new feature to be very motivating for me.

If you create an app for gmail so people can see this info for themselves, people would love you.
I love it, very creative idea.
It is indeed a good feature, but many people may not know that there is a graphical expansion to the numbers. Since people think twice before clicking any link, probably its better to give a snapshot of the graph when they hover aver the link.
So when do we get to see the code for this and your email categoriser?
I think a lot of people would find this useful
The graphs are made using the Google Chart API. I just made it pull the data out of his database and then build the necessary URL to produce the graph. You can see the rather unwieldy image link it’s producing in the page source. That link has all the necessary data to produce the graph.
The Chart API is pretty cool, once you get used to it. It can do some really clever things.
This is maybe the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long while. 🙂 Totally totally wonderful.
Hi Matt
This is great idea and I really like it, Just thought I send this and see the counter for the inbox increment myself on the contact page lol.
