Corporate influence on “news reporting” has resulted in a gradual decay of America’s democracy over the past 20-30 years. There once was an inkling of fact-finding in the 70s and 80s. Today “news” has been largely replaced with talking heads whom express their opinions and encourage disputes between guests. Independent, unbiased news reporting is a basic ingredient to our Constitution. Without it, we will suffer as a people.
Liars believe in lies. That’s what we have all become – liars. But this too shall pass.
