The John Biggs article on Why I’m Still Wearing My Apple Watch almost perfectly describes how I’m feeling about the watch right now. It is a very personal device, I’ve gotten attached to the little fellow, and I should probably start selling all my mechanical watches.
Is it wrong that I was hoping that a lot of people wouldn’t like them? Because I have been trying to convince myself that it was a bad idea.
“Don’t tempt me Frodo! I dare not take it. Not even to keep it safe.”
Thanks. This reinforces why I shouldn’t get one. Don’t want to become dependent on another piece of technology. As it is I’ve been trying to use my smartphone as a dumberphone more often. (i.e. turn off wifi and mobile data).
Just a wild thought, Is it possible to publish small articles from iWatch ?
I mean any app for that .. 🙂
Matt, we come at the Apple Watch from slightly different perspectives but I think we have both reached the same outcome. I want to keep wearing it but I feel that I should wear both the Apple Watch and a mechanical. Ironically I just summed all that up in my Apple Watch Review Part 2 today:

I agree. I haven’t worn any of my mechanical watches since I got the Apple Watch.
