About eight of the speakers including myself are going to be doing a livestream tomorrow from 2 to 10 UTC, or what would be 9am to 5pm in Bangkok where the inaugural WordCamp Asia was supposed to happen this weekend.
We’d all much rather be in person, but I do think there is a silver lining in us learning how to do official WordPress livestream events that can be accessible to everyone all over the world, following in the footsteps awesome virtual events like WordSesh.
I estimate Matt’s presentation will be about 3am (Arizona time) Saturday morning. Break out the coffee! Thank you Matt for sharing!
I am very interested in learning how to do a live stream via my WordPress website. Can you tell how that is done? Thanks!
How many WordPress developers are out there, Matt? Do you (or Automattic) keep stats?
I would say there’s more than 500k.
I wanted to wish you a very happy belated birthday Matt but the comments are closed on that post so I am posting my best wishes to you here. And know what? We both share our birthdays (Jan 11) which is quite an honour for me. Keep spreading the goodwill and cheer among the WordPress community like you always have.
Tomorrow WordCamp in Prague, unfortunately I can not participate, I’m at work. But I am glad for the possibility of livestream and being in the picture anyway. Thank you Matt!
