You mean you’re not going to post the movie here like you did that mp3 the other day?

Haha, not today. Maybe in a few years when we all have faster connections.

This movie is without a doubt, an objet d’art. The visual and auditory aspects of this movie are amazing. This is not a Hollywood movie, folks. Hollywood could not, would not, make a film like this. It will be a must-have DVD for your collection, alongside Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Nuclear Moose scores it two antlers, way up!

It’s funny how Hero only just came out in theatres in the states, whereas the rest of the world has watched it repeatedly. And yes, it really is as good as implied by Matt’s review.

It is a great movie. I saw it like 2 years ago though when it first came out. I liked it better than Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Matt – i have the DVD, but it’s the subtitled version. i’m not too fond of subtitles but it was well-worth overlooking just for the sheer fact that the imagery is absolutely beautiful. Tom had gotten the DVD about a couple years ago, too. i think i’ll enjoy watching it on the big screen so i can understand the story and so that Tom can see Zhang Ziyi up close (that’s his fave).

Kathy: Can’t you just turn off the subtitles? Granted, the speech is Mandarin, but you get the full view of the scenery.
