Just a little note of congratulations to the WordPress team for working so hard and creating a product I now depend on for weblog management. I’ve been incredibly impressed by the software and the support that’s been available in the year or so since I moved from hand coding all my weblog entries in EditPad to WordPress.
It’d be interesting if there were graphs of the steady progression on the amount of downloads
It’s a slowly rising steady stream, averaging about 2.2k a day and going down on weekends.
Only expected, bah!

I saw that! I just missed it too – when I was there it was at 150,003! I was so bummed to miss a cool screenshot!
Will there be another party?
I wanted to go to the last one in SF but it was on a weekday and I had to work early the next morning. 
When it hit 50k I said it (WP x.x) would reach 1 million in a year or two. I am now pretty sure that I was right.
Cyndy, just download the page, change the number, open in browser, retype the “correct” URL
I think the next party should be for 500,000.

I installed 6 copies using the Fantastico tool, so odds are the count is even higher
