Funny, you’d think the most Mac-like blogging tool would be the one built in to Mac OS X Server

Ok, but WHY exactly are we looking for the “most Mac-like” blogging tool? The looks do not count for the code behind it and that is what it is all about… That WP can take on some very very hot facades is just the ++ of this wonderful tool!

I dissagree. For most computer users today, especially mac user, how slick the interface is really plays a large role. If an application looks horrible, I don’t want to use it.

“Most Mac-like” is not about the visual aspect of WordPress. The Mac is famed for ease of use – the mythic ability of “It Just Works”. What I believe they are saying is that WordPress upholds this ideal best out of all the blog software.

Well… I run an “Apple related” site, but I don’t think that had anything to do with my decision to use WP. WP is (for the most part) just a really well made system. The main factor in my decision to use it was how flexible it is and that it uses modular code. That’s just a really smart idea for something like a blog manager or CMS, and WP does it best in the free & open source world, IMHO.

But I guess the real question here is… are more Mac sites using WP than any other blog? It’s really hard to tell, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were so. I’m seeing more and more WP blogs every day, as well as more and more Apple users. It’s inevitable that there ends up being some cross breeding of the two :)

i’ve been a mac user for a long while, before os x was a sparkle in apple’s eye, and i also use wp. i think the person who said “The Mac is famed for ease of use – the mythic ability of “It Just Works”. What I believe they are saying is that WordPress upholds this ideal best out of all the blog software.” did a hit-nail-on-head manoeuvre.
