Well it looks like Bruce Parens decided not to break the law at his Friday presentation. Apparently it was not of his own concern, but chiefly that of his employer. In his position I believe I would have done the same thing, as a whole he can contribute more to open–source through his work at HP than in jail, even if it does prove a point.
