It Is Done

I was late, but then again that’s nothing new. Earlier this afternoon at Saint Ambrose Church I completed my Confirmation.

  1. Congratulations, Babydoll! As always, I’m behind you 300%, but I thought you’d like to know that I’m hugely proud to have you as a brother…I’d be a lot prouder if you were awake, since I snuck online to talk to you! 🙂 I’ll keep ICQ on for a few – or as long as I can, in case you can stop by, or I’ll try to call you tonight!
    Love, C

  2. Thank you very much Elaine and Charleen.

Averrhyz, confirmation is basically the last initiate rite of the Roman Catholic church.

  3. A few days late, but what’s new? I just wanted to say “CONGRATULATIONS!” again. And remember, time is irrelevant to God … good for us, huh? 😉

For the Baptists in the crowd, I like to point out that Confirmation in the Catholic church is very similar to Baptism in a Baptist church – you do it when you’re old enough to speak for yourself, for the most part. Same concept, different name.

    It’s been 20 years now since I was Confirmed – 1983…

  4. 🙂 dang that was a long service, and too bad my spanish is a little rusty. CONGRATULATIONS MATT! im proud of you
