I’ve been having similar problems over the past number of weeks. But then, I attributed it to being in a college residence hall, having roomates that hog bandwidth over P2P networks, and being far removed from requiring a dial-up connection. It could, of course, be none of those things.
Not just you…. The Internet’s been slow for me and many pages I try to visit are popping back with the “no site exists at this adddress” message, but if you tried reloading two or three times the site would show up. It’s not doing it so much today, thankfully.
maybe it has to do with some kind of virus or something? Well, actually my internet is fine, just trying to add alittle to the conversation.
Bah – someone must have broken the internet again.
Does anyone know how to reboot it?

I’ve been getting that same problem nikkiana, but attributed it to a connection problem. *shrugs* It doesn’t happen often, must be Firefox playing up.

I had that feeling for a few weeks, things were getting slower and slower…. then one day i took a load of crap into my fllatmates room and noticed Kazaa sat there with like a million things downloading.
I pull his network plug from the router and left a rude messsage on his screen (I pay for the broadband as I work from home as a web developer) And you know what… its like being on speed now! I have that feeling of just having upgraded from 56k again
Tweeked some settings in firefox yesterday aswell, and pages seem to load even faster 🙂 Ooooh sweet broadband!
