How ironic – I got a whole bunch of it myself too this afternoon. All of the Comment Spams pointed to a Japanse casino website (withheld from here for obvious reasons).
I thought it was originally targeted only for Movable Type manged websites, but since you mention it I guess I wasn’t the only one that got it.
Unfortunately, Movable Type 2.661 (sans MT-Blacklist) wasn’t so keen on catching it; good to see WordPress was though.
I had this happen a few months ago… on a post about comment spam! (They actually quoted the post, which made it tricky to identify until I followed the link… to a page listing Japanese casino sites.)
