Well, if you are not offended by the recent actions of our government, we (the passionate bloggers (: ) would like to have a WordCamp too in Turkey.
Don’t ask me, ask your buddies in the area. 🙂 Anyone can run a WordCamp.

How I would love to have a wordcamp right here in New Delhi, India.
I know its upto us, but unfortunately the blogging community here is not that well bound together, and extremely sporadically organized! 🙁
We’re starting to organize an Israeli Wordcamp! Wish us good luck :). Not too many WordPress users in Hebrew, but the community is strong.

Matt, we couldn’t resist and we couldn’t wait: We just announced WordCamp08 in Hamburg, Germany on January 26-27, 2008! We assume this is the first announcement for Europe. We will focus on German speaking users & developers. So, are now free to “blog about it to help get the word out in our area”! Thx, Matt, for a really really great product!
