Brad Burnham did a cool post on Web Services as Governments which I mostly agree with. In my talks I often refer to the GPL as software’s Bill of Rights. If you think of web services as governments, the need for a Bill of Rights fits right in.

Come on Matt, I love a good analogy as much as the next person, but if I have to think about calling Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg Sire or Mr. President I might just shoot myself because that would be the end of the world anyway.
I find the analogy a bit funny. Although I won’t ever call them by any honorary titles unless I’m making hilarious photoshop images.
