Interesting, I enjoyed reading the post, too. What came to mind, though, is that views can be bought — and this happens all across the net. As can “likes” be bought, as well as “followers”.
Heck, that’s how Trump got elected—fake likes and followers. And everyone is guilty who owns large internet companies such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc.
News and elections are manufactured by online manipulation these days. Look at all the followers that the misinformation agent Alex Jones has, as an example.
