FYI, WordPress 2.4 for iPad is in the App Store.

I don’t see what the big fuss is about for something that’s basically a larger version of the iPod Touch: no camera, no USB, no multi-tasking, no flash, etc. Weighs more than a Kindle and not as powerful as a netbook.

Definitely not me. I just keep wishing I could afford one xD

I hope the app gets approved. It’d be a fantastic addition to everything that makes WP awesome.

I’m afraid that’s only a US problem, the rest of us don’t get it for a whole nother month!

    I’ll watch movies on IPad!

The iPad is such a load of c***!!

Oh come on, this is absurd. You are nothing more than Jobsian slaves thinking like this. It’s just another (overpriced) piece of locked-down shiny kit. Get a life people, go spend some quality time with your families. You won’t die or anything if you do not get the darn thing on the first day of it’s release.

what does that say about what “home” has become?

I am so excited about the IPad. It is not really about what it’s tech specs are, it is more about the user experience! if I have to take a class to learn how to use the darn thing then I will never use it! and that is how most computers are these days

Wow. I don’t know that I would have admitted to that one where Mom could read it. We’ll miss you this weekend!

The general public hasn’t totally embraced the iPad yet probably due to the illusion of it being just a big iPhone. I think they’re greatly mistaken. iPad apps could take many interfaced programs (such as WordPress) to a whole new level of usability and functionality. The WP iPhone app is/was a good concept, but blogging from your phone isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do. The WP iPad will be very very popular. Congrats.

Bah. Not going to ruin my Easter. I won’t be the first in line to fill the pockets of Steve Jobs. Maybe after the third iteration I might buy one as by then, I just might need a digital replacement for the magazine that’s by my toilet.

It’s not too late to fly out, right? My kids and I aren’t getting an iPad, so it looks like we’ll be able to dye those eggs after all ;-)
