Scrollkit and Longreads at Automattic

You might have seen the news last week that Longreads is joining Automattic’s editorial team. Today I’m excited to announce that we’ve acquired Scroll Kit and they’re joining Automattic as well, and will be focused on making customization more visual and intuitive. We’re barely on the second inning of what WordPress could be, and the impact it can have on the world, and I consider myself very lucky to be working with the best and brightest on transforming the way the world publishes.

    1. Thanks to the entire WordPress team for creating this beautiful piece of software. You guys (and gals) do a phenomenal job of running it so smoothly. One of the best, if not the best, open source project.

  1. Only two days ago I was wondering what happened to Kommons. As it seemed like a compelling idea that garnered press, but then quickly faded. It’s great to learn Cody and Kate’s next venture has legs.

  2. I discovered WordPress few years ago and I can see that is positively growing. I personally admire Matt, and I started to learn how to code after reading his biography on Wikipedia. I open few websites and now I help others to get started with wordpress sites.

Keep up your work, you are doing it great!

I hope you will come soon back to Milan! 🙂
