Get A Gravatar Ready For WordCamp 2008 Badges. I think this is the first time Gravatars have gone physical. Really excited about it! They’re generated on the fly using PHP and the PDF library. ¶

Sometimes I wonder about you guys. Excited about pictures on badges? We have been putting pictures on badges for at least 30 years.

Pictures on badges is the first step. Wait until we have location aware badges that will note, who we came in contact with at events. Social networking at its finest.

@M: Actually, they did have some at one of the latest hacker events (HOPE) performed several functions — but the jist of it:
“to track and bring together hackers based on a huge array of matching interests.”
