Reading

Ever wonder what we’re reading here at PhotoMatt.net International Headquarters? Well now there’s a sidebar widget that says what I’m reading now and links to the edition on Amazon, and I even get a kickback. Comments welcome. I’ve been doing a lot of tweaks to the menu and navigation in general so if you have any comments on that leave them here.

  1. Goodness gracious. Now I feel like an intellectual idiot for reading “Shadow Dawn” by Chris Claremont and George Lucas, “Beading for the First Time” by Ann Benson, and “Advanced Ribbon Embroidery Techniques” (author unknown). I guess that I should get back to the classics if I’m going to keep up with you!
I *did* reference the transcripts for the Vatican II last weekend to settle a debate (I couldn’t believe that I found that book!) and before that, I finished the complete works of Oscar Wilde, so Mother shouldn’t despair. I might dive into Orson Wells again (excuse the pun) when I finish the Lucas book…just as long as I don’t have to read “Madame Bovary” EVER AGAIN. There’s not a redeemable character in that book! Love, C

  2. Wow, you’re even posting your reading now? Before, all of your “fans” may not have been voyeurs, but now you give them no choice. 🙂
P.S. What have I been reading lately? Indian Killer by Sherman Alexie, Conexiones: Comunicacion y Cultura, Economics, The Pleasures of Babel: Contemporary American Literature and Theory, and “Analogue and Digital Photography: The Technical Picture,” among other things. 😉
P.S. I can edit my comments now! Muahaha.
